Ovid Inn Event Center | Vintage Main Street Retreat Sleeps 25

When we were searching for wedding venues, I really didn’t want traditional fancy wedding decor and settings. There was only one thing that could’ve made it perfect and they do have plans to address that to make sure future experiences are perfect. Other than that one thing, this was perfect. We used the little unique church right across the street for the ceremony and held the reception at the inn. Being able to book the entire inn for 2 nights also enabled us to have some of our out of state guests stay at the inn for cheaper/more convenient lodging. And, my wedding photos have turned out gorgeous and everything I could hope for!!

The space was lovely and Jennifer was an excellent host. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She stocked the place with water bottles, extra paper towels and toilet paper, and snacks (even some gluten free snacks for one of our guests!) and provided recommendations for local bakeries/restaurants. The bunk beds were sturdy and the decor was very cute. The booking process was smooth and the check in/check out instructions were easy to follow and sent at the perfect time. Hope we can stay here for another event in the future!

Can not say enough good things about this charming place. The hosts are thoughtful and responsive. Fresh updated amenities in a historic and quaint space is a rarity and this spot has both! Ample parking, plenty of room for guests, cozy yet fun vibes all add to the versatility of the Inn.

This facility was perfect for our small school's prom! The hosts were wonderful, answered all our questions, and had everything set up perfectly for our arrival. The banquet room is beautiful, making decorating a breeze. The full kitchen has plenty of counter space, great for plating dinners and prepping food. After dinner, the students headed upstairs where they were surprised to have so many entertainment options! No one was bored at this prom. Not into dancing? Shoot some pool or take up a game of ping pong. Want something slower paced? Crack open a board game ! Need some fresh air? Step outside into the quaint Boyer Park where market lights are strung and benches are poised for quiet conversations. This place has it all and was enjoyed by all! It's truly a gem!

There were plenty of rooms for everyone and lots of space. We ended up 20 people of all ages and had plenty of room. The kids and the adults enjoyed the game room upstairs. Just know that the kitchen is not set up for a lot of cooking. We brought prepared meals, but I know there are catering options. Thankfully there is plenty of refrigerator space.
